Ania rolling out clay at her workbench

I throw everything myself and paint each tree by hand.

About Ania

Ania in her blue apron, smiling, a rolling pin over her shoulder

I glaze in small batches, so no two mugs match. Drops sell out fast; the letter tells you first.

The studio is a former bakery on a side street in Kazimierz, with two wheels, one kiln and a window that gets the afternoon sun. I fire every second week, and each batch is around sixty pieces: mugs mostly, some bowls, a few vases when the clay asks for it. The birch pattern started as a doodle on a test tile. People kept asking for it, so it stayed.
